inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Communication and Information Minister Budi Arie Setiadi says the smooth papal visit for four days in Jakarta shows the nation that is peaceful and full of tolerance.
“Tolerance and respecting each other is a value that we have long preserved together. The visit of Pope Francis becomes an important symbol for the world on how Indonesia can live alongside each other peacefully amidst its vast diversity,” says Minister Budi on Friday (9/6/2024).
He hopes that the visit can strengthen the spirit of unity and harmony of all public elements in Indonesia. He also hopes that the spirit of tolerance can be passed down to the next generation and give positive vibes for the development of the country.
“This harmony must be maintained and passed down to the next generation as tolerance and harmony is the main key for our development,” explains Minister Budi.
In the series of Pope Francis' visit to Indonesia, the Minister of Communication and Information said that his ministry participated in enlivening the series of events by collaborating with a state-owned logistics company, PosIND, to issue stamps with a special theme.
With the theme "Faith, Fraternity and Compassion", this stamp was released nationally and can be purchased by all Indonesian people.
