Inp.polri.go.id - Cibubur. The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has ordered all Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) kitchens involved in food poisoning cases under the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program to suspend operations for at least 14 days.
“Laboratory test results from the Food and Drug Authority usually take around 14 days. During that time, investigators collect evidence and conduct inquiries. Once complete, BGN will reassess whether the SPPG can resume operations,” said BGN Deputy Head Sony Sanjaya in Cibubur, West Java, on Thursday (25/9/2025, as reported by antaranews.com.
The suspension allows investigators to identify the cause and ensure corrective measures before permits are reissued. BGN confirmed suspension this month in Garut, Tasikmalaya, Banggai, and Cipongkor, West Bandung. Officials stressed that no cases so far involved deliberate actions, though police investigations continue.
BGN pledged to cover all medical expenses from MBG-related poisoning cases, citing millions already disbursed to hospitals, with no burden placed on parents, schools, or local governments.
