Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto declared his recent 15-day overseas state visits to multiple countries as productive and strategically valuable, covering investment, trade, and diplomatic cooperation.
“I’ve just returned from a 15-day trip. It was quite long, but thankfully, the results were very good,” he told reporters at Halim Air Base, Jakarta, Wednesday (16/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
President Prabowo began his journey in Saudi Arabia, where he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The Kingdom expressed its intent to increase investment in Indonesia. Prabowo also proposed the construction of a permanent Hajj village.
In Brazil, during the BRICS Summit, he met President Lula da Silva and discussed the untapped trade potential between the two nations. A major breakthrough came in Belgium’s Brussels, where Indonesia and the European Union agreed to finalize negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), enabling tariff-free trade.
The tour concluded in France and Belarus, with defense diplomacy and fertilizer supply talks marking key outcomes.
