In order to support the government in realising economic inclusion in Riau province, Chief of Riau Regional Police, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, attended the 2021 Bank Indonesia Annual Meeting held in the ballroom of Pangeran hotel, Pekanbaru, on Wednesday (24/11/2021). The event was also attended by Second Assistant of Riau Province, Chief Prosecutor of Riau, Chief of Riau Regional Police, Commander of 031 WB Military Resort, Commander of RSN Airfield represented by Chief of Cash Holder Colonel Lieutenant Adm Hotbert Manurung, Chief of Bank Indonesia Representatives in Riau, Deputy Chief of Bank Indonesia Representatives in Riau, Chief of BAZNAS of Riau and Siak regency, President Director of Bank Riau Kepri Ltd, Chief of Logistical Affairs Agency of Riau and Riau Islands Regional Division, Chief of Regional Office of the Directorate General of State Treasury, and Chief of Riau Province Central Statistics Agency. In his opening statement, the Chief of Riau Regional Police said, "We support the government and also want to be the part of realising economic inclusion in Riau province and also could optimally conduct product downstream. To conduct economic recovery in Riau province, there is cooperation needed between stakeholders. Therefore, we have to recover the economy by conducting synergy quickly and precisely and also providing more high-quality innovations. "The economic recovery is important, becomes common attention, and becomes the support of social life. Therefore, we have to socialise economic inclusion well, especially financial inclusion. As information, the regional government has welcomed that QRIS digital financial transaction implementation. We hope that QRIS could ease the transaction and aims for better economic recovery", Chief of Riau Regional Police said. "The economic recovery must be prioritised because the good run of the economy is in the financial and banking services. We have Bank Riau Kepri and other banks. Therefore, we all should utilise it better to move economic dynamics in Riau province. This synergy and innovation are hoped to be the exact answer in facing future economic challenges.
