inp.polri.go.id - Surabaya. The East Java Regional Police gave its full support in securing the 2024 Regional Head Election logistics distribution.

After inspecting the ballot printing location in Gresik, East Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Imam Sugianto emphasized that his ranks will provide full supervision on its distribution.

"For its distribution we will communicate with the printing companies, and of course also with the General Election Commission (KPU)," said Imam on Thursday (10/24/2024).

He said that the ballot distribution process will be carried out gradually. When the logistics are ready to be sent to the City Regency KPU, they will be escorted by police officers.

The East Java Regional Leadership Coordination Forum states its commitment to collaborate in making the 2024 simultaneous regional elections a success. They will work together in ensuring that the distribution process can run smoothly without any obstacles.

"For the remote areas, we have coordinated with the Regional Military Command to help KPU when needing ships and other supporting equipment. Our Marine and Air unit is also ready to support the distribution process," Imam concluded.
