Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. North Sumatra Police held a social activity in nurturing the nature by planting 3,200 trees throughout the province, Wednesday (11/15/2023).
The North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi explains the activity is part of the Indonesian National Police (INP) program of planting 10 million trees in collaboration with Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.
“For the North Sumatra Police, along with our ranks, we will plant 3,200 tress which all will be planted throughout North Sumatra Province,” said Agung.
He hopes that their activity of planting trees would give a significant contribution in nurturing the environment.
“Nurturing the nature and environment will continuously be intensified by us in effort in restoring the green. This could help detox the air from pollution and improve food’s sustainability,” he concluded.
