The Counter-terrorsim Special Detachment (Densus) 88 has arrested two alleged terrorists in Palu, Central Sulawesi, and in Semarang, Central Java. “Yes, there have been two terrorists arrested. One was arrested in Palu and other is in Semarang,” says the spoke person of Densus 88 Grand Commissioner Aswin Siregar quoted from Antara, Thursday (11/16/2023). He then further explains the details of the arrest. Aswin states a man initialed MA was arrested in Palu on Tuesday (11/14/2023). Officials found that MA is linked to the terrorist group of Anshor Daulah (AD). “The one who was arrested in Central Sulawesi is a member of Abu Oemar group,” adds Aswin. Meanwhile, a man initialed HS was arrested in Semarang on the next day (11/15/2023). After further examination, HS was found to be a member of Jamaah Islamiyah (JI). (ad/ay/pr/nm)
