Indonesian Minister of Cooperatives, Budi Arie Setiadi, said that the government is serious about encouraging the ease of establishing the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes) in villages.
Vice Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto emphasized that the establishment of the Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperative (Kopdeskel) is part of the government's efforts to realize equitable development throughout Indonesia, including down to the village and sub-district levels.
Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Mendes PDT) Yandri Susanto reminded regional heads to oversee the formation of red and white village/sub-district cooperatives.
