Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The South Tangerang Sub-regional Police in Banten are investigating the death of a 13-year-old student from Pahoa School in Gading Serpong, who reportedly fell from the eighth floor of the school building on Monday.

South Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief Assistant Senior Inspector Wira Graha Setiawan confirmed the incident and said an investigation is underway. 

“We received information that a student identified as the student fell from the eighth floor. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital but later passed away,” he said on Wednesday (5/11/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.

Police have conducted a crime-scene examination and collected CCTV footage to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Several witnesses have also been questioned.

The student’s body has been returned to the family for funeral arrangements. Authorities have not confirmed any speculation regarding the motive behind the fall, emphasizing that further details will be disclosed after the investigation concludes.
