inp.polri.go.id – Deputy General Chairperson of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Anwar Abbas, appreciated the National Police Chief and all parties in the police who have been able to uncover the case of Brigadier J's murder to its roots. "As the one who cherish the truth and justice, we certainly should give our appreciation to the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the police who have been able to uncover the murder case of Brigadier Nofriasnyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J to the roots," said Anwar Abbas, on Wednesday (10/08/2022). According to him, although at first the community was pessimistic and predicted that the conclusion of this case would only touch the tip of the ice berg, through a firm and professional attitude of Listyo Sigit and all his staff, they were able to uncover the case of Brigadier J's murder and assign the status of a suspect to the former Head of the Prompam Polri, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. "Thanks to the firm attitude and professionalism of the National Police Chief and the police, this case can be solved to its roots by arresting who has been the main actor, and or the mastermind of the Brigadier J’s murder," said the Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. He hopes that the case of Brigadier J can be used by the Police as a momentum to improve themselves, so that they could restore the public trust that had tainted. Anwar also conveyed his expectation to the Police being the agents of change to develop Indonesia to become better and just country.
