Youth Pledge Day momentum is used by cadets of the Police Academy (Akpol) by holding simultaneous social services throughout Indonesia.

Carrying the theme “United Youth Cadets” which is an acronym for Youth Caring for Society for Clean, Healthy, Safe and Helpful Indonesia, the Akpol cadets from levels II, III and IV, totaling 805 cadets, distributed masks and items that were still fit for use, as well as food packages for people in need.

The Governor of the Police Academy, Inspector General of Police, Suroto, said that Akpol cadets are young people who are educated by the state so that later they become apparatuses who play a role in the continuity of the state through the National Police organization.

“The spirit of the Youth Pledge is an example for Akpol cadets to take steps and do something for the Indonesian nation by increasing concern for the community through Social Service activities,” said Inspector General Suroto in his statement, Thursday (29/10).

On the other hand, continued Suroto, this social service activity is to increase awareness of the social environment and build an image in the community for Police Academy cadets with the hope of having a positive impact on the National Police organization.

This social service was held simultaneously throughout the Polda ranks from 29 to 1 November. A total of 28 thousand masks as a commemoration of the Youth Pledge Day on October 28 were distributed plus 1,500 packages of basic necessities and clothes or items suitable for use for the orphanage.

“Apart from masks and basic necessities, donations are also items suitable for use from cadets of the Police Academy,” said Suroto.
