inp.polri.go.id – The Fiscal, Moneter, and Devisa Sub-directorate of North Sumatra Directorate of Special Crimes, have confiscated the assets of Apin BK, a.k.a Jonni, who was the famous bookies in Medan, Thursday (10/6).
The assets that have been confiscated by the police are a land and buildings in Pinus Raya street.
The second-story building was owned by Jonni from the funds he gathered as bookie.
In total, there are five assets that have been confiscated, including the building in Pinus Raya Street, Danau Singkarak street, Airlangga Street, Merbau Street, and in Jamin Ginting Street.
The Head of Public Information of North Sumatra Police, AKBP Herwansyah Putra, accompanied by the Head of the Fiscal, Moneter, and Devisa Sub-Directorate, Commissioner P. Samosir, confirmed the confiscation of Jonni assets.
“Yes, it is true that the North Sumatra Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation unit have confiscated the assets of J, a.k.a Apin BK. His assets were confiscated due to his involvement in money laundering case,” said AKBP Herwansyah Putra.
It was also revealed that the assets in total worth of Rp21,6 billions.
The confiscation was carried out because there was a determination letter from the Medan District Court Class IA Special number: 3254 and 3255/pen.sit/2022/PN mdn on 23 September 2022.
Although his assets have been confiscated, Jonnis is still a wanted man.
