The Sarolangun Police Criminal Investigation Unit, after receiving the report, immediately processed it and traced the incident, Sunday (08/07). The Head of Sub-Division of General Information of Public Relations of the Jambi Police, Commissioner Edy, revealed the chronology of the incident. Initially, the victim was pushing his motorbike because of ran out of fuel, suddenly the perpetrator who was riding a motorcycle with his friend pulled the victim's clothes. "The victim panicked and ran into a house leaving his motorbike. Then the perpetrator immediately took the victim's motorbike, and for this incident the victim suffered a loss of around Rp10,000,000," explained Commissioner Edy. The Sarolangun Police Criminal Investigation unit, who then received the information, then found the perpetrator’s home and immediately secured MH (19) at his home in Rantau village, Pelawan sub-district. The perpetrator tried to escape when he was arrested, but has now been taken to the Sarolangun Police Station for further examination. The Head of Sub-Division of General Information of the Jambi Police revealed that the perpetrator had been reported three times to the Sarolangun Police Station because of his repeated criminal actions.
