inp.polri.go.id -  To prevent the outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), the cooperation between the Armed National Forces (TNI) and the Police from Central Lampung continues to monitor and help the people of Terbanggi Subing Village in preventing the outbreak by vaccinating the animals, Sunday (8/7). The Central Lampung Police Chief AKBP Doffie Fahlevi Sanjaya ordered the police chiefs in his jurisdiction area to continue monitor and help the community in preventing the disease, and disccussed about it with the related institution and the Department of Livestock, Plantation and Fisheries. Following up on that order, the Gunung Sugih Police Chief AKP Wawan Budharto sends off his personnel, while also cooperating with TNI personnel, to monitor the vaccination of the animals by the Department of Livestock, Plantation and Fisheries on his region. His party stated that this vaccination is part of prevention measures to FMD outbreak on Central Lampung livestock. “We will continue to patroll door to door to the farmers to socialize about the FMD and to ensure that their animals are free from the disease, so that we can treat it immediately if there is one infected by the disease,” he concluded.
