inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police deployed thousands of joint personnel to secure the protest on Monday (4/21/2025). The protest itself will be held at the front of the State-owned Enterprises Ministry building, DPR building, and the United States Embassy.

“There are 1,211 joint personnel deployed to secure the protests in Central Jakarta,” says the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed on Monday (4/21/2025).

Susatyo states that the personnel consisted of the military soldier, police officer, and provincial government elements. He emphasized that the security personnel are strongly urged to act persuasively and not provoked or to provoke, prioritizing negotiation, while maintaining security and order.

The personnel involved in security, he said, also did not carry weapons and were asked to respect the masses who would express their opinions.

Susatyo also appealed to respect and appreciate other road users who would pass around the DPR RI Building.

"Conduct peaceful demonstrations, do not be anarchic and do not damage public facilities," appealed Susatyo.
