The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Sukabumi Regency reported that three houses damaged due to the impact of a 5.4 magnitude earthquake as  9 pm o Sunday (1/10/2023). "Three units of houses in three districts affected by the earthquake," said Daeng Sutisna, the Manager of the Center for Control and Operations of BPBD Sukabumi Regency  as reported by antaranews.com. The three houses suffered minor damage. There were no casualties or fatalities due to the Sukabumi earthquake, he said. The Disaster Management Officers of the Sub-Districts (P2BK) of BPBD Sukabumi Regency continued to monitor the impacts of the earthquake. It called on residents whose houses were damaged due to the earthquake to immediately report to the authorities or their local neighborhood associations to be addressed. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has released the coordinates of the earthquake's epicenter with a magnitude of 5.4, which were at coordinates 7.26 LS-106.60 BT at a depth of 88 km, 30 km southeast of Sukabumi Regency.
