inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police have arrested three fugitives of online gambling cases involving the Communication and Digital Ministry. The three were arrested in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten.

“Today, there are three fugitives that we have successfully secured, namely B, BK, and HF. With this, a total of 22 suspects have been apprehended by the police,” says the Special Criminal Investigation Director of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Wira Satya Triputra on South Jakarta on Saturday (11/16/2024).

Wira explains that the three suspects manage the thousands of online gambling sites to not get blocked. The three are civilians who are acquainted with HE.

“From the hands of the suspect, we seized the evidence of 3 mobile phones, 3 ATM cards and cash in various currencies worth Rp600 million," explained Wira.

According to the Director, currently the three suspects will be subjected to in-depth examination by investigators.
