Inp.polri.go.id - Malang. The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Authority (TNBTS) has set a daily quota of 3,752 visitors for the Mount Bromo area during the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holiday season.
Rudijanta Tjahja Nugraha, the Head of TNBTS, said on Tuesday (17/12/2024) that the quota includes an additional 1,000 visitors per day, applicable from 7 am during the holiday period from 23 December 2024 to 2 January 2025.
"The increased quota accommodates the surge in visitors during the festive season. However, it excludes 30 December 2024, due to the Wulan Kapitu closure," he explained, as quoted by antaranews.com..
Visitors can enter through official gates such as Cemoro Lawang, Wonokitri, Jemplang, and Ranu Regulo. Tickets must be purchased online via bookingbromo.bromotenggersemeru.org to prevent overcrowding, with on-site purchases only available at Ranu Regulo using QRIS digital payments.
To ensure smooth access, authorities will enforce traffic control measures in collaboration with the police, military, and transportation agencies. Parking areas have been designated in Malang, Pasuruan, Probolinggo, and Lumajang districts to manage tourist vehicles efficiently.
