Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto has appointed six Army major generals to lead newly established Regional Military Commands.

The appointments include Major General Agus Hadi Waluyo for Tuanku Tambusai military command, Major General Arief Gajah Mada Tuanku Imam Bonjol military command, Major General Kristomei Sianturi for Radin Inten military command, Major General Zainul Arifin for Tambun Bungai military command, Major General Jonathan Binsar Parluhutan Sianipar for Palaka Wira military command, and Major General Lucky Avianto for Mandala military command.

“There will also be status upgrades for the commanders of elite units, elevating them to corps leaders. This means they will likely receive promotions from two-star to three-star rank,” said General Kristomei, who is now the TNI Head of Information Center, on Friday (8/8/2025), as reported by antaranews.com.

The decree also names Major General Djon Afriandi as the Commander of the TNI’s special command (Kopassus), Major General Endi Supardi as Commander of the Marine Corps, and Air Vice Marshal Deny Muis as the Commander of the Air Force’ special operations air force unit (Kopasgat).

The official ceremony is expected on Sunday  in Batujajar, West Java.
