Inp.polri.go.id - Samarinda. Borneo FC kicked off their 2025 Super League campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda, on Friday (8/8/2025).
The decisive goal came in the 66th minute when Mariano Ezequiel Peralta Bauer converted a precise pass from Kei Hirose.
“We wanted to give our fans a strong start, and the team fought hard until the end,” Peralta said after the match, as quoted by antaranews.com. “Kei’s assist made my job easier, and I’m happy we secured three points in our opening game.”
Borneo FC dominated possession early but struggled to break through Bhayangkara’s defense in the first half. Bhayangkara also had chances to equalize, with key saves from Borneo goalkeeper Nadeo Argawinata denying Putu Gede and Ilija Spasojevic late in the match.
The victory puts Borneo FC at the top of the league table with three points, while Bhayangkara sit at the bottom without a point.
