Joint personnel of Indonesian Military Force (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (INP) has secured the open plenary session in Pegunungan Bintang Regency that has been held since February 2nd to February 5th, 2024. The security operation involves personnel from Yahukimo 1715 Regional Military Command, 2024 Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force, Assigned Mobile Brigade of Papua Regional Police, and Pegunungan Bintang Sub-regional Police. Pegunungan Bintang Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Dafi Bastomi says that his party has intensified patrol and monitoring to ensure the plenary session goes smoothly and conducive. “Personnel continue to be on standby at the location to provide sense of security and comfort of election committee and to ensure the plenary session is free from dangers,” said Superintendent Dafi Bastomi. On the other hand, 2024 Damai Cartenz Ops PR Chief, Superintendent Bayu Suseno appreciates the performance of TNI-INP joint forces who continue to secure the plenary session in Pegunungan Bintang Regency for four days straight. “Thank you for carrying out your duty in securing the plenary session in Pegunungan Bintang Regency.
