Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Traffic Corps announced that traffic accidents during the 2025 Zebra Operation reached 3,288 cases, or down 1.44% from 3,336 cases in 2024.
“Our priority is safety. With the expansion of ETLE, we hope motorists stay disciplined on their own,” said Traffic Corps Chief Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho on Monday (8/12/2025), referring to the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement.
Fatalities fell sharply to 361 deaths, a 24.95% decrease from 481 last year. However, severe injuries rose by 6.07% to 542 victims, and minor injuries slightly increased to 4,111 cases. Recorded material losses reached Rp6.59 billion, up 3.76% from 2024, as reported by antaranews.com
The Traffic Corps and the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police logged 220,427 violations during the 17 to 30 November 2025 operation, marking a 16% decline from 262,664 in 2024. ETLE-generated violations rose to 41,051, while manual ticketing dropped 65% to 69,488 cases.
