Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps is simplifying how flood-affected residents in Sumatra and Aceh can process traffic documents, aiming to ensure timely public service despite disaster disruptions.
“The INP is giving special attention to residents who lost or damaged their SBST documents,” INP Traffic Corps Chief Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho said on Tuesday (9/12/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com
Mobile service units have been deployed to evacuation centers and hard-to-reach areas, while digital databases are being used to reduce physical requirements.
Regional police units have been ordered to create clear emergency procedures, prioritize disaster victims, and coordinate with local governments and BNPB to speed up data verification.
