Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Transjakarta and MRT will publish special regulation regarding breaking fast during the Holy Month of Ramadan. On the official account of Transjakarta, they announced that they have their own regulation for breaking fast inside the bus. "Eating and drinking in Transjakarta buses is permitted when breaking the fast, with a maximum of 10 minutes from Maghrib call to prayer," quote the X official account of Transjakarta, @PT_Transjakarta on Monday (3/11/2024). However, passengers are still not allowed to eat any kinds of main dish food, food that has strong smell, or any fast food inside the bus. Passengers are also obliged to maintain cleanliness and conduciveness of the buss. “Other than that, you could also buy some foods or drinks in retail/commercial area or pray first in mushala that we have provided in several of our bus stop,” continue the quote. On the other hand, MRT Jakarta also announced that they also permit their passengers to break the fast inside the train.
