Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. A deadly accident involving a truck and its 30 passengers occurred in Rajamandala road towards Cipongkor, West Bandung. The accident happened at 00.30 am. The West Java Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Ibrahim Tompo explained that the accident happened when the truck went downhill. However, the exact cause of the accident is still being investigated by the police. “With the truck going downhill, it went out of control and was overthrown to the right side of the road and flipped to its original position,” said the West Java Regional Police PR Chief on Friday (1/26/2024). Due to the accident, Ibrahim reveals six loss their lives with 11 sustaining heavy injuries and 14 others suffering minor injuries. “At the moment, 22 victims are being treated at the hospital while two others have permitted to return to their home,” conclude Ibrahim.
