Inp.polri.go.id – Waropen. In effort of maintaining public and traffic security ahead the open campaign in Waropen Regency, the Waropen Sub-regional Police dispatch their personnel. The Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Iip Syarif Hidayat explained that his party has deployed its personnel to secure and escort the political parties who will campaign in Waropen Regency. “We previously had escorted the election campaign parade from Uri Village and crossed Waren-Urfas road to Budi Utomo open field. And before the parade, we have also conveyed security messages for the people involved to maintain public safety and security and avoid any activities that would disturb others,” said Hidayat. Following their security operation in Budi Utomo open field, Waropen Sub-regional Police remain in the area to ensure safe and secure situation. Until the security operation is over, Waropen Sub-regional Police members reports no significant troubles emerged during the open campaign and reaffirm their neutrality and support for the success of 2024 General Election.
