inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The police conducted psychological tests on two suspects of sexual abuse at an orphanage in Tangerang. The two suspects are Sudirman (49) and Yusuf Baktiar (30).

According to the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam, the psychological examination was conducted to determine the motives of the two perpetrators in committing sexual abuse against their foster children.

"The two suspects are currently undergoing psychological examination by our psychology unit of Metro Jaya Regional Police Human Resources Bureau," explained Ade on Thursday (10/10/2024).

Ade explained that the 13 foster children who had been in the orphanage had been temporarily moved to the Tangerang City Social Service shelter. The children will receive psychological treatment.

"The Tangerang City Sub-regional Metro Police are also working with the Tangerang City Health Service. We also received information from investigators that the Regional Health Service has also prepared their psychologists," he said.
