inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Chief, Dudung Abdurachman, emphasized that unsuitable Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) must be immediately fixed or face suspension.
"The first thing we must pay attention to is cleanliness. The KSP will immediately conduct a rapid audit and national verification of SPPGs. There will be a classification, whether they are fully qualified, conditionally qualified, or unfit and therefore cannot operate," explained Dudung, Tuesday (5/12/2026).
He stated that the implementation of the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) must be closely monitored to ensure it runs quickly, safely, accountably, and truly benefits the people.
From on-site inspections at several locations, Dudung stated that a number of serious issues were still identified, particularly related to cleanliness, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
He emphasized that the certification and verification process for SPPG kitchens must not stop at the administrative aspect. According to him, the most important thing is to ensure that actual conditions on the ground truly meet health, hygiene, and food safety standards.
During the inspection, he found several conditions deemed substandard, including a dirty kitchen area, the presence of maggots, pallets that did not meet health standards, an inadequate washing area, a hot kitchen area, and a mixed dry kitchen, wet storage, and dry storage areas.
According to Dudung, separating dirty and clean areas is a basic principle in food kitchen management. Therefore, he requested that the SPPG kitchens that do not meet standards be adjusted immediately.
"If they cannot meet the standard soon, they should be closed immediately. I will convey this to the National Nutrition Agency (BGN)," he said.
Chief of Staff Dudung stated that the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) has coordinated with the Head of BGN, Dadan Hindayana, to follow up on the findings. He also urged that the SPPG kitchens that do not meet standards be immediately suspended.
