inp.polri.go.id - Intan Jaya. The 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force continues its efforts to maintain security and stability in Central Papua through patrols in Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, on Tuesday (5/12/2026).

The patrol was led by Police Senior Inspector Syahri Aditya. The patrols demonstrated the security force's presence within the community to create a safe and conducive environment in Sugapa.

Personnel, who first did a patrol at the market, then proceeded to Bank Papua Sugapa to ensure the security of vital facilities and the smooth running of public services.

During the patrols, personnel also interacted directly with the community as part of the humane approach consistently prioritized by the task force.

The Head of the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force, Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, emphasized that humanist patrols are a crucial step in maintaining security stability while building trust with the community in the operational area.

"The presence of personnel among the community aims to provide a sense of security and ensure that community activities can proceed smoothly. We continue to prioritize a humanist approach in maintaining public order and security in Papua," he said.

He also added that securing community activity centers and vital objects is a priority to prevent potential security disturbances.
