Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. UNICEF has praised the Indonesian government for its sustained efforts in promoting child rights over the past decade.
“We take this opportunity to recognize the significant strides made in improving the lives of children in Indonesia,” said UNICEF Indonesia in a statement marking National Children’s Day on Wednesday (23/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
UNICEF highlighted improvements in child nutrition, access to essential healthcare, quality education, and 21st-century skills. The agency also acknowledged stronger child protection systems and expanded access to clean water and sanitation.
They specifically praised President Prabowo’s “Quick Wins” initiative, calling it a bold and accelerated investment to support Indonesia Emas 2045. Parents and caregivers were also recognized as key contributors to child development.
UNICEF reaffirmed its partnership with the Indonesian government to ensure every child can survive, grow, and reach their full potential.
