Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo honored on Wednesday (23/7/2025) the winners of the “Police for Society” competition during an Awarding Day ceremony held at STIK-PTIK Auditorium, Jakarta, as part of the 79th Bhayangkara Day celebrations.
“This event should serve as a way to develop one’s potential,” he said during his speech, while personally presenting awards to winners from various categories.
The competition recognized public and police contributions in sports, innovation, and creative content. Categories included karate, badminton, tennis, shooting, judo, and basketball. Other awards were given for best private security officers, exemplary police auxiliary units (Polsus and BUJP), drug-free village campaigns, food security innovation, Media Hub information system, and Call Center 110 services, according to antaranews.com.
Chief Sigit also honored participants of the 2025 World Police and Fire Games in Alabama, where the INP delegation earned 50 medals and placed in the top ten out of 70 countries.
