Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Minister of Communication and Information (Wamenkominfo), Nezar Patria, revealed that the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in Indonesia is considered very aggressive, especially for the financial services sector.

He stated that the financial services sector has optimized the use of technology and AI in managing user data. This is a good step to take advantage of technological developments.

"The adoption (AI) is quite aggressive. Almost all financial services use machine learning and AI technology to process their big data," he said on Thursday (10/10/2024).

Furthermore, the use of AI technology in this sector has even been applied to Customer Relations Management (CRM). Not only the financial services sector, the use of AI technology is also carried out in a number of other sectors, including the health sector.

"It's amazing. The use of AI can help improve the services down to the smallest units, and that's very helpful. Transportation is also (using the AI technology), health sector too, and telemedicine is now developing the tech at rapid speed," he said.
