inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Director General of Village Government Development of the Home Affairs Ministry, Ira Hayatunnisma says that the digitalization of villages comes as an importance in improving HR quality for the 2045 Golden Indonesia.

“At least we want to digitize the village first, because if we provided facilities evenly to the villages, we are sure that people would come back, and maybe return to their hometown,” says Ira on Thursday (11/28/2024).

Ira saw that currently many young people in villages are migrating to cities in order to get a decent and quality life with the various conveniences they get in the city.

So, when the government can guarantee all the access and infrastructure they get from the cities in villages, the interest to return and develop their home villages will grow by itself.

Therefore, the government's efforts through the Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Kemendes PDT) through its 10 programs, including providing internet facilities in various villages, must be appreciated.

The program is included in the Village Digitalization and Tourism Village program, where in this program the government continues to strive to fulfill the rights of people in villages to get the same access as city people.

Not only that, the government also continues to strive to collaborate with various parties in providing internet facilities in 22,544 villages that still have difficulty accessing internet signals.

To make the program a success, the government intends to collaborate with other related agencies such as the Ministry of Communication and Digital or the Ministry of Public Works.
