inp.polri.go.id - West Sumatra. The West Sumatra Regional Police, Inspector General Gatot Tri Suryanta, accompanied by Vice Brigadier General Gupuh Setiyono visited Governor Mahyeldi Ansharullah at the Gubernatorial Office of West Sumatra on Monday (1/13/2025).

At the occasion, the two parties discussed the cooperation between two parties in supporting safety, security, and development in West Sumatra.

Mahyeldi Ansharullah expressed his gratitude for the visit and their support in maintaining security in the province.

“We are thankful and committed to continue strengthening our cooperation with West Sumatra Regional Police,” says Mahyeldi Ansharullah.

Chief Gatot also hopes that the synergy that has been established between his party and the West Sumatra Provincial Government will be even closer and provide more benefits to the community.

In his visit, Gatot also noted the duty given by the Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief in supporting the Asta Cita program. Among other things, he also emphasizes the commitment of the Police in providing protection and a sense of security to the community, as well as supporting the implementation of government programs under the leadership of Prabowo Subianto.

"We want to ensure that the police are present to provide a sense of security and comfort. Some of our focuses include handling mining problems and related to the problem of brawls among teenagers. Moreover, in a few moments we will enter Ramadhan," explained the West Sumatra Regional Police Chief.
