Parents are urged not to let their children out of parents supervision and to watch over suspicious individuals that could endanger their children.

The Head of Lampung Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Umi Fadillah Astutik emphasized the importance of parents' role in watching over their children.

"Don't be gullible with people around you without knowing their background, because crime can come from people close by," she said, as reported by the bandarlampung page, on Sunday (1/12/2025).

It is known that this appeal was conveyed following the arrest of WT (64), a mechanic in Gedong Air Village, Tanjung Karang Barat District, Bandar Lampung.

WT is suspected of molesting a 4-year-old girl on Thursday (1/9/2025) at the workshop where he works, which is next to the victim's house.
