Inp.polri.go.id - Cimahi. Cimahi Sub-regional Police’s Narcotics Unit arrested West Bandung Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) Chairman Riza Nasrul Falah during a drug party with two associates.
Cimahi Police Chief Superintendent Tri Suhartanto confirmed on Friday (7/3/2025)that RNF, a lawyer, and a homeowner were caught using methamphetamine at a residence in Cililin, West Bandung.
Officers seized 0.84 grams of meth and drug paraphernalia, according to antaranews.com.
The arrest followed an earlier operation on 5 March 2025, when police arrested three suspected drug dealers in Bongas Village. Further investigation led to Riza’s involvement.
Riza and his associates face charges under Articles 112(1) and 127 of Law No. 35/2009 on Narcotics, carrying up to four years in prison.
The suspected dealers face harsher penalties under Articles 114(2) and 112(2), with sentences ranging from five years to life imprisonment.
