Inp.polri.go.id – West Sumatra. The West Sumatra Regional Police will implement a one-way scheme for the 2024 homecoming traffic flow. The traffic engineering will be implemented on April 7th, 2024. The Traffic Director of West Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Dwi Nur Setiawan says that there are changes in their one-way scheme. Previously in 2023, the one way flow would be from Padang City to Bukittinggi through the main road, and from Bukittinggi to Padang through Malalak road. “We changed the pattern for our traffic engineering, which will be from Padang City-Bukittinggi through Malalak road, and Bukittinggi-Padang City through main road or Padang Panjang road,” said Dwi on Tuesday (3/26/2024). The changes, said Dwi, is according to their evaluation as there are road narrowing in the previous road. The West Sumatra Traffic Director says the one-way scheme will be implemented on April 7th to April 15th, 2024 from 12.00 pm to 17.00 pm. (ad/mz/pr/nm)
