Kabid Humas Polda Lampung, Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad said that the 2022 Cempaka Krakatau Operation had been carried out for two weeks from 17 February to 2 March 2022. Kabid Humas Polda Lampung explained that the target of that operation is the eradication of thuggery crimes, street crimes, gambling, prostitution, debt collectors who use the services of thugs, and other crimes. "Of the 510 criminals, 57 were among the targeted for operation (TO) and 453 were non-TO," said Kabid Humas Polda Lampung. During the Cempaka Krakatau 2022 operation, Polda Lampung has also secured several pieces of evidence, such as 1,411 bottles of liquor, 2,891 liters of palm wine, 33 motorcycles, 12 homemade firearms, 20 sharp weapons, 65 cell phones, and three cars. "We confiscated a money worth of Rp14,770,500. The money came from the act of crimes such as gambling, illegal levies, thuggery, and prostitution," said Kabid Humas Polda Lampung. Kabid Humas Polda Lampung added, during the 2022 Cempaka Krakatau Operation, the ranks always prioritize law enforcement activities that are supported by detection and preventive measures. This was done to create a sense of security and maintain the social order in Lampung Province to remain conducive. Kabid Humas Polda Lampung also appealed to the people of Lampung to continue to assist the police in eradicating all crimes that are disturbing the community.
