inp.polri.go.id - Sukabumi. Police revealed the victim of the traffic accident who was smashed by a motorcycle in a four-meter deep pit is a woman from Palasari Village, Sukabumi Regency.

“From our investigation at the field at Girijaya Village, we found that Neng Laras Murni died after having a traffic accident and fell to the pit,” said Sukabumi Sub-regional Police Traffic Unit Chief, Police Senior Inspector Fiekry Adi Perdana on Saturday (10/19/2024).

In his statement, he said that the traffic accident occurred on October 13th, 2024, the day she went missing. It is speculated that the woman who was driving the blue Honda Beat was heading to her home at Cirendeu Village.

Unfortunately, she did not manage to get home as she fell into a pit on her left side after losing control of her bike. The victim who suffered serious injuries could not get up and finally died at the scene, crushed by her motorbike.

The victim's body was only found after residents smelled an unpleasant odor around a ditch not far from the residential area on Thursday (10/17/20024). After inspecting the smell, people found that there was a dead female body in the pit.

"There were several wounds on the victim's body which were suspected to be caused by being hit by a hard object such as a stone. The family accepted the incident as a disaster and refused an autopsy," he explained.
