inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Yogyakarta Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan along with his key officials reviewed several security posts of 2024 Progo Lilin Operation on Saturday (12/28/2024).

The review aims to ensure personnel preparation at the field in providing service to the people during 2024 Christmas Holiday and ahead of the 2025 New Year's Eve.

In this visit, Suwondo also directly talked with personnel at the posts to give directions and motivations. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining health, professionalism, and coordination between personnel.

On the other hand, Suwondo also appreciates the good cooperation between Police, Military, and other stakeholders in supporting the 2024 Progo Lilin Operation. It is expected that the efforts could create a safe and order situation in the province.

Meanwhile, the Head of Yogyakarta Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Nugroho Arianto hopes that his visit could smooth the 2024 Progo Lilin Operation.

"The visit of Police Chief to several security posts in the 2024 Progo Lilin Operation was to ensure personnel preparation in giving service to the people, particularly during Christmas Holiday. We pray that 2024 Progo Lilin Operation will be going smoothly and successfully so people can enjoy their holiday," Nugroho said.
