inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Chairperson of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR)  Lestari Moerdijat said that the younger generation must be able to implement the values ​​contained in the Four Pillars of Nationality to answer future challenges.

"The implementation of the values ​​of the Four Pillars of Nationality, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is an important step to guide the life of the nation and state that we live," said Lestari in a statement received in Jakarta, Sunday (6/15/2025).

According to Lestari, Indonesia is currently facing various challenges due to the impact of technological disruption that need to be addressed immediately with real steps.

If not balanced with literacy, the speed of technological development is considered to be able to change people's mindsets and lives.

"Without realizing it, the speed of technological development can potentially erode the national ideology held by the nation's children," she said.

Therefore, Lestari encouraged students and the younger generation in general to truly be able to implement the values ​​of the Four Pillars of Nationality in their daily lives.

"Armed with the national values ​​inherited from the nation's founders, each generation of the nation's successors is able to respond to the challenges faced to win the competition in the future," she said.
