The Patra Team of the D Pioneer Battalion of the Mobile Brigade Unit of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police thwarted a youth brawl in the North Cikarang area early this morning. Two suspected perpetrators were apprehended along with two motorcycles and seven sharp weapons.

"After our members discovered a suspicious group of youths around Gombong Market to North Niaga Raya, we apprehended the two youths," said the Head of the Mobile Brigade Unit of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Henik Maryanto Sunday (4/5/2026).

Henik explained that the team in the field continues to take preventative measures, targeting potential gathering spots for youth groups from night to early morning.

"Our approach is based on mapping regional vulnerability, so that any suspicious movements can be immediately anticipated before they escalate into real disturbances," he said.

He also emphasized that the presence of personnel in the field is not only focused on enforcement but also on providing a sense of security for the public who are still active at night.
