inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu RI) stated that 97 people evacuated from Iran and currently in Baku, Azerbaijan. They will be repatriated in stages using commercial aircraft.

"97 evacuees who are already in Baku, Azerbaijan, will be repatriated in stages using commercial aircraft," said the Director of Protection of Indonesian Citizens at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Judha Nugraha, Monday (6/23/2025).

The people evacuated consist of 96 Indonesian citizens (including 3 embassy staff), and 1 foreign citizen, namely an Iranian citizen who is the spouse of an Indonesian citizen.

The evacuation group is scheduled to arrive at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Tuesday afternoon (6/24/2025) WIB.

The rest of the people evacuated will arrive in stages from Wednesday (6/25) to Thursday (6/27).

The evacuation process was carried out as an anticipatory effort following the growing tension in Iran due to the Israeli attack.
