The following is the schedule and location for the Covid 19 vaccination held by the Central Kalimantan Regional Police. Friday (06/25/2021) at the Precision Pavilion, Bhayangkara Hospital. Saturday (06/26/2021) at the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarter, Samapta Directorate, Chief of Air and Water Police (East Kotawaringin) and Sanaman Mantikei Field, Palangka Raya. Monday (28/6/2021) at the Central Kalimantan Regional Police's Medic and Health Office. Head of Public Relations of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Kismanto Eko Saputro, said that in carrying out the vaccination, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police targeted 500 participants in each place. Vaccination participants target people aged 18 years and over, the elderly and pre-elderly as well as public servants. “The level of public awareness in supporting national vaccination is quite good. It is indicated by enthusiasm when they come to the vaccination location,” he explained. The implementation of mass vaccination by the Central Kalimantan Regional Police is part of an effort to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19 in Central Kalimantan. From vaccination, it is hoped that herd immunity can be formed which causes group immunity. So that the spread of Covid 19 can be contained. "The implementation of the health protocol still applies to vaccine recipients. So that even though you have received the vaccine, you can't neglect to wear a mask, wash your hands, and stay away from crowds," he concluded.
