inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid has prepared five programs to support the campaign of peaceful 2024 Regional Head Election.

“We have prepared five main programs for the 2024 Peaceful Regional Election Campaign, namely SMS blasts and digital media ecosystems, monitoring and supervision of the radio frequency spectrum (SFR), logistical support, securing digital space, and public communication," said the Minister of Communication and Digital on Thursday (11/7/2024).

Meutya emphasized that her ministry played a crucial role in securing the digital public space during the 2024 Regional Head Election.

Within the context of securing the digital space, the Ministry of Communication and Digital will focus on handling negative contents, including misinformation, hoax, and hate speech that potentially sparks conflicts during election.

“The monitoring and campaign program hopefully can create a space and conducive digital space while solidifying the unity towards 2045 Golden Indonesia,” explains Meutya.
