Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Constitutional Court has registered 115 regional election disputes that stemmed from the 2024 Regional Head Elections, involving 86 candidate pairs for regent and vice-regent and 29 pairs for mayor and deputy mayor.

The first dispute was filed on 3 December 2024 by Murung Raya candidates Nuryakin and Doni, while Pemalang candidates Vicky Prasetyo and Mochamad Suwendi submitted the latest case on 6 December 2024.

The Court’s website has detailed the petitioners, including pairs from West Bangka, North Tapanuli, and North Minahasa. Election monitoring groups like JPPR in North Nias have also lodged complaints.

The court has prepared to handle the disputes efficiently, with judges emphasizing fairness in safeguarding Indonesia's democratic process.

The Constitutional Court recently inaugurated 735 task force members to support the resolution of election disputes, aiming to uphold electoral integrity and trust.
