Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) partnered with the media to distribute thousands of iftar meals across the country on Thursday evening (13/3/2025).

Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the Head of the Public Information Bureau at the INP’s Public Relations Division, said that the initiative reflects the INP’s commitment to being present in the community.

"This event is not just about sharing meals but also strengthening collaboration between the police and the media while directly benefiting the public. Across Indonesia, more than 136,000 iftar packages have been distributed, and thousands of orphans have received aid,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Iftar meals, commonly known as takjil in Indonesia, refer to light snacks or sweet dishes such as dates or traditional cakes, typically consumed to break the Ramadan  fast at sunset.
