Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto invited a number of university rectors across Indonesia for a meeting that Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto deemed a significant milestone in national higher education.

"This is the first time an Indonesian president has gathered so many university leaders, both from public and private institutions," he said after the meeting on Thursday (13/3/2025)

Minister Brian considered that the meeting was not merely ceremonial but a strategic milestone aligning with the President’s Astacita vision, which prioritizes human capital development through education.

"This reflects our shared commitment to making universities hubs of research and innovation, strengthening national industry, and elevating Indonesia to global competitiveness," he added, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The event gathered 184 university representatives, including rectors from public and private institutions, religious colleges, and educational boards.
