inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Head of Election Organizer Honorary Council (DKPP) Heddy Lugito appreciated the role of the Police in successfully maintaining public security and order during the 2024 General Election and Regional Elections.

“Including the security forces, particularly the Indonesian National Police (INP), because we have to acknowledge that our election went safely and orderly,” says Heddy in his remarks on election procession on Monday (1/6/2025).

Heddy is grateful that there are no security disturbances and social conflicts that endanger national unity considering that many predicted that the election procession would be rough.

Moreover, throughout the 2024 Election, INP has provided the facilities for examination hearings on alleged violations of the code of ethics for election organizers (KEPP) in several regions such as Papua Province, Southwest Papua, and South Sumatra.

"The DKPP is greatly assisted because the Police have allowed the DKPP to use its premises and facilities for the hearing," said the DKPP Chairman.

According to him, INP’s facilities are the most well prepared for the trials. Not only that, the security of the facilities are also guaranteed.
