Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian has praised the Indonesian National Police (INP) for its crucial role in ensuring the success and smooth implementation of the 2024 General and Regional Elections.

"This has been a collaborative effort, but honestly, one of the biggest contributors has been the INP. Thank you so much to the iNP," he said in a statement on Wednesday (11/12/2024).

Minister Tito made the remarks during the 2024 INP Regional Heads (Kasatwil) roll-call at the Police Academy in Semarang, Central Java. 

He noted that the INP’s security efforts before, during, and after the 2024 elections were notably better than those in 2014 and 2019, with almost no significant conflicts. The simultaneous regional elections held on 27 November, 2024, also went smoothly. according to antaranews.com.

Minister Tito emphasized that the INP’s vigilance should continue, especially in areas with potential conflicts or ongoing disputes in the Constitutional Court that could affect local regions.
